KOEPKA’S MOVE OUT THERE

The Daily Telegraph has confirmed Brooks Koepka’s move to LIV Golf. He faced a grilling from media at the US Open and responded blaming the media for casting a black cloud over the tournament.

He said he was there to play and it sucked what they were doing. “The more you keep talking about it the more legs you give it.” So we can look for his name to be among those new recruits LIV Golf will announce this week.

In other news Matthew Fitzpatrick and his brother Alex also now a professional turned down “crazy” sums to join LIV Golf. Fitzpatrick prefers the legacy of golf and playing in the majors, not playing for the big money.

Sir Nick Faldo has announced his retirement from broadcasting for CBS and the Golf Chanel after the Wyndham Championship in August. Interestingly this was the tournament where he made his debut in 2006. Now 65 he plans to pursue his other interests more fully.
