Drummond Golf Junior Amateur was played recently at The Vines Golf and Country Club.

The two days belonged to Erina Tan and Ollie Marsh. Both sat in second going into the day and both shot a two under 70.

Tan was two under after her first two holes. A bogey on 16 meant she made the turn at one under.

Another bogey on her 10th hole had her back at even. With both Jorja Hinson-Tolchard and Amanda Gan pushing up the leaderboard, Tan needed to make a move.

Tan finished strong, she was two under through her last six holes. She managed to hold off the Jorja Hinson-Tolchard and hang onto the State Junior Amateur title.

Ollie Marsh had a final round tussle with first round leader Ken Gao. They traded blows through the front nine and shared birdies on both the final two holes of the front nine.  Marsh had a two-shot lead at the turn and never let up. He birdied 11 to extend his lead.

A quick fist pump after he holed a long par putt on the par three 13th showed what the round and tournament meant to him. He finished the back nine level par and two under for the day and the tournament. A massive win for an exciting young player.

Congratulations to both our Champions Erina Tan and Ollie Marsh. The two days was filled with plenty of exceptional golf. The course was in awesome condition and made for an awesome two days of golf.
